Oooh, yours has lever that brings the bowl up to the beaters, and the bowl has a handle. Mine didn't; it had the bowl. without handle, that screwed into the base, and the flip-top motor area. You most definitely got a bargain for your $20!
Wow, $20 is a steal. I've been waiting patiently for one of those turn up on the clearance aisle at Target or Walmart to add to my appliance collection.
Hey! Now I am jealous. I inherited my grandmother's kitchenaid mixer when she passed, and when the mixer passed on I replaced it with another brand...mistake. I need to check out some local yard sales and see if I can find a super deal like this. :)
awesome deal. Robin got one at a yard sale for 20 bucks, but it wasnt a hobart, just an older KA. The hobarts are so collectible. You could sell it on ebay for a hundred or more I bet. But, that mixer will last forever.
