I lived in Kyrgyzstan for a year (...I love garlic! I lived in Kyrgyzstan for a year (when I was in 5th grade) and was introduced to it there. We would eat whole roasted cloves. Now, it is a MUST in my house. Sometimes, I even put more than is called for because you often can't taste it. BTW, if BOTH people with romantic intentions are eating the garlic, does that really pose a problem? :-)<BR/><BR/>The couscous looks great. When I need to use raw garlic and I don't want it too strong, I tend to use garlic powder instead.<BR/><BR/>Now, couscous. I just cannot get over the texture for some reason.
