Has the cheese finally slipped off my cracker?

I keep thinking things are going to settle down but maybe I'm wrong. After the baby got sick Wednesday night, I got sick Friday night and my husband was sick on Sunday. I just keep falling further and further behind in life.

I've been trying to do most of my cooking for the week on Sunday which helps me a lot during the week but it doesn't do much for my Sundays. When I rush through all that cooking at once, it's hard to get pictures and post about it all.

I really love my blog but I'm not sure where it should fall in my list if priorities right now so bear with me while I figure this all out.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll be joining the ranks of those casual bloggers who only post every now and again. Maybe I have already become one of those and I just don't realize it?

That's a great expression!
I read you on the google reader - and I see it when you post. Back a few years ago it seemed a bother to go to someone's blog and not find a new entry, but now-a-days, if there is a new one it appears. I think a once a week (or month or every other...) is JUST fine. :-) Of course, what does my opinion matter.

I have two older children and an almost 1year old and I can't imagine blogging any longer...

Thanks for what you do blog. I made the gingerbread cookies (you made them into cute lil' people) and I got raves from the kids school mates - back in December... ;-)

I enjoy your blog so even if you post occasionally, that's okay. I too follow through a reader and so it is easy to know when there is something new.

I think if you get a chance to post a short entry, great. If not, don't stress about it. Blogs should be fun.

Don't feel guilty! The blog is great whenever you can do it.

As the others said, don't worry about it. It's just appreciated whenever you have the time.

The purpose of blogging is for your own enjoyment, and to share that with others.

It's your party.

You get to make up the rules.

And you never have to make excuses when you have family priorities.

(I just found your blog through Googling yellow cake recipes. Thank you for sharing with the world.)
